A Cupboard of Small, Beautiful Things

There are corners in a home that don’t ask to be seen.

A small cupboard.

A folded piece of linen.

A jar set gently back in its place.

Nothing styled. Nothing loud.

Just things kept with care.

I’ve always loved spaces like this—

where everything has a purpose,

but nothing feels rushed or crowded.

A cup waiting quietly.

A bit of bread, still warm.

Something sweet tucked away for later.

It’s not about having more.

It’s about keeping what you have… softly.

A life pressed soft and simple.
