A Cottage I’ve Always Dreamed Of

There’s something about a thatched roof that has always felt like home to me.

Not grand or complicated… just soft, aged, and quietly beautiful.

I’ve always imagined a small cottage—simple to keep, easy to care for. The kind of place where life slows down on its own, and the days aren’t filled with rushing, but with small, meaningful things.

A place where I could scatter wildflower seeds freely… and let them grow however they choose. Not perfectly arranged, not planned—just natural, a little wild, and full of life.

I think what I love most is the feeling of it.

A quiet piece of land.

A home that doesn’t ask for much.

And a life that feels steady, simple, and well-lived.

If you’ve enjoyed your time here at Lambert Cottage, and something in this post made you feel a little more cozy, a little more inspired, or a little more seen… you can leave a little something in the basket 🤍🧺
